Florida OL makes the switch

Kyle Jones is a standout offensive line prospect from Mulberry High and he has changed his commitment.

Kyle Jones made an early commitment to Florida International under former coach Mario Cristobal.

Cristobal was fired recently, which made Jones look around at some other options. Today, he connected with another coach and made a new commitment.

"I just got off the phone with Coach (Bobby) Petrino and I'm now a Western Kentucky Hilltopper," Jones said.

At 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, Jones is a massive offensive guard prospect who is very powerful. He plays with good pad level, a good understanding of the game, and is very strong -- especially at the point of attack. He's a good student in the classroom and brings a lot to the table as an interior line prospect. He was one of the school's most heavily recruited players in a decade plus.
