Florida CB names favorite

Roody Clerisier is a standout cornerback prospect from Fort Pierce Central High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Roody Clerisier talked about his senior season that recently finished.

"We went 11-1 this season and we won the district for the fourth time in a row," Clerisier said. "I had three interceptions this year."

Clerisier, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, is now focused on recruiting and he talked about the latest.

"JU, South Alabama, who offered me a few months ago, Bowling Green, and Central Michigan are showing me the most attention right now," he said.

One of those schools stands out over the rest.

"South Alabama is my favorite right now," he said. "I just like the program and how their scheme is. I feel like I would fit in there nicely. I'm trying to schedule visits right now."

The standout cornerback talked about what he'll be looking for when choosing a school.

"Academics, first and foremost. Then playing will be the key factors when I choose a school."
