Hill Visiting Michigan

After receiving a scholarship offer earlier this week from Michigan, Iowa verbal commitment Delano Hill is spending time with the Wolverines.

Delano Hill still is verbally committed to Iowa, according to his Coach Tom Wilcher at Detroit Cass Tech. That doesn't mean that the 2013 defensive back isn't interested in the Michigan offer he received earlier this week.

"He's planning on a visit to go watch Michigan practice (on Friday)," Wilcher said. "He just wants to get a look at it and talk to (Wolverines Defensive Coordinator Greg Mattison)."

Asked if Hill still was committed to Iowa, Wilcher said "Yes."

Mattison visited Hill at his home on Thursday night. Cass defensive coordinator Jermain Crowell talked about the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Hill getting a Wolverine offer here.

After committing to Iowa in the spring, Hill visited Notre Dame and began looking at other schools this fall. He talked about that

Hill then decided to stick with his Iowa commitment as he discussed here. He officially visted Iowa City last weekend and he spoke about that in this story.

Scout.com ranks Hill as the 24th-best safety prospect in the 2013 class. The service tabs him as a four-star recruit, the only one currently verballed to the Hawkeyes.
