5-foot-10, 175 pound defensive back Roland Ladipo had a very successful senior season. His Pickerington North (OH) team made it to the state semifinals and he made strides on the field. The senior also now has schools coming after him.
"Air Force offered me," said Ladipo Friday evening. "The degrees you get there really mean something. You're guaranteed a job once you graduation. The program really instills discipline, respect, work ethic and time management into their players. You also have the opportunity to win some big-time football games if you go there."
This is the second offer for Ladipo. Holy Cross extended one to the defensive back last week.
"Holy Cross has a great academic tradition. I've heard their campus is amazing, but I still have much more research to do."
Aside from his two offers, the senior is also hearing from several other schools.
"I just visited Cornell. I'm also talking to Robert Morris, Dartmouth, Liberty, Dayton and Ashland."
