Bain is a Tiger

On the same day he left LSU's campus following an official visit this weekend, Maquedius Bain pledged his verbal commitment to Les Miles and the Tigers. Bain, a four-star defensive tackle from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is LSU's 23rd commit in the Class of 2013.

LSU nabbed its 23rd commitment in the Class of 2013 when Maquedius Bain pledged on Sunday afternoon.

Bain, a four-star prospect ranked by Scout as the No. 27 defensive tackle in the country, becomes the fourth player at his position to commit in this class. Already the Tigers have received pledges from Tevin Lawson, Christian Lacouture and Greg Gilmore.

He is now the 12th player to commit in this class who hails from outside the state of Louisiana.

Tiger fans should look for Bain, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native, to officially announce his intentions during the Under Armour All American Game in Orlando on Jan. 4.
