Massington to Announce Saturday

Four-star receiver Eldridge Massington will walk the graduation stage Friday, and make public his future the following day, declaring among a final three.

With more than 20 offers in front of him, it was in May that Eldridge Massington pulled the trigger with the USC Trojans, set to graduate in December and enroll early.

It was with two weeks remaining until graduation, and days before his scheduled official visit to USC, that Lane Kiffin and Co. informed Massington that his early enrollment spot was no longer available, and that he would enroll in June with the others.

But the four-star wideout was already set to walk the stage, and was looking forward to getting a jump start on college ball (and rehabbing his ACL, torn in July, with a university training staff.)

So, was forced to find another home.

Three official visits in a week later, his future sat among Alabama, UCLA and Arizona State.

The first two seemed to be his top two; then came the 'surprising' third.

And while Alabama has not yet confirmed whether they have an early enrollment spot available, Massington noted he will have received word by Saturday.

As far as announcement details, nothing fancy.

"I'm just going to call the coach," said Massington. "Ready to make my decision and get on."
