Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake cornerback Dashon Hunt is in Houston for this week's Offense-Defense Bowl and is excited about the opportunity.

"It was a great feeling to be selected to play in this game. It just means that all of my hard work has paid off," he said of the honor.

The 5-foot-9, 185-pound cornerback is the lone prospect from California playing for the American Team and he is soaking up the experience.

"Everyone here is a great athlete, a great guy. Everybody out here has a different personality and it's great getting to learn some new things, teach some new things, and getting taught by these coaches is awesome," he said.

Hunt, who has a collection of offers, has publicly narrowed his decision to three schools: Oregon State, Boise State, and Nebraska. Hunt, however, has already made up his mind.

"I know where I'm going, I'm just waiting to announce it publicly. I came up with my decision about a week ago," he said.

He will make that decision public this Sunday during the All-American Game.

"It's a dream come true. When you are little, that's something you think about, that you want to be the guy who can do the hat thing at an All-American Game. Now that has come true. It's a great feeling," he said.
