Dominic Walker has a final two and will announce his decision Sunday during the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
Walker's decision will come down to either Florida State or Nebraska. He wouldn't say if one school had an edge over the other, and explained the advantages of each one.
"I like Florida State because they're in-state and my teammate [Ro'Derrick Hoskins] is committed there," Walker said. "If I wanted to stay in-state, that would be a good place to go, and they were my first offer."
Walker never took an official visit to Florida State, and doesn't have one planned, but he did take enough unofficial visits to feel he has a good understanding of the program. Still though, he said his relationship with the FSU coaching staff could improve.
"It's alright," Walker said. "It's not as strong as I want it to be, but I can still relate to them."
Walker made his only official visit to Nebraska the weekend of Sept. 28. The atmosphere of the stadium on gameday was one of the many things that stood out to him about the Cornhuskers.
"I like Nebraska because the coaches are great," Walker said. "They've been recruiting me hard. They have great facilities, and it's just a great football state. The fans treat the players like kings."
As for the O-D Bowl, Walker has enjoyed practices so far despite heavy rains leaving the fields soggy. Walker said he's enjoyed playing with some of the other wide receivers on his team, which features several that are 6-foot-3 or taller.
"It's been fun, a great experience," Walker said. "There are a lot of athletes out here. We've been playing on rough grass so it's tough to make cuts…but the other receivers are good, they can all catch. They're all tall. I'm probably the shortest one."
