It's only a matter of time until Jeremy Benjamin puts speculation to rest and announces his commitment at the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
Benjamin has narrowed it down to three schools — West Virginia, Marshall and Wake Forest — and will make his decision public on Sunday.
"I pretty much know my decision, I'm just waiting to announce it at the game on Sunday," Benjamin said. "I'm looking forward to it big time."
Benjamin broke down what he enjoys about each program:
"With Marshall, it's the whole family vibe I get," Benjamin said. "The recruiter that's recruiting me is from down south, so he knows what I'm about. We can relate on a lot of things. I'm buying into the whole family vibe."
"West Virginia, they were one of my first offers. They're recruiting me pretty hard. I like the defense they run. I feel like I could fit in real good with them."
"Wake Forest, I like their whole recruiting class, and how they recruit. They're recruiting real hard, so they're going to have a real good team in the future."
Benjamin said both Marshall and West Virginia are recruiting him to play safety, and Wake Forest wants him to play linebacker. Benjamin said he would prefer to play safety on the next level.
Benjamin said he has yet to schedule any official visits.
"I don't have any dates, but I'm looking to squeeze at least two in January," Benjamin said.
