O-D Bowl: TCU Report

PASADENA, Texas -- Scout.com talks about some of the TCU targets in the O-D Bowl...

Ranthony Texada - Texada has all the natural skills that always set him apart. Great feet and fluidity. He runs really well, but field conditions have not allowed him the ability to let it completely loose. While he is not nearly the biggest defensive back on the team, his size does not disappoint, because his profiled height/weight listings seem accurate. Texada has committed to TCU.

Andrew Billings - Big, strong defensive tackle prospect. He is a big ole gap plugger that has above average athleticism and tremendous strength. He can line up right over the center and control the gap on either side. He is strong enough to move almost any offensive lineman straight back. Billings has TCU in his final three.

Maurice Porter - Porter is one of a number of impressive looking specimens on the Red Team offensive line. Rated as an OG, he looks like he has the potential size to possibly even play at tackle in college. Porter has not yet scheduled a visit to TCU, but things could heat up in January.

Kaleb Blanchard - Did not get a whole lot of chances to see Blanchard in full gear. He was running really well early in the practice on Friday, but there was little too no contact and then he twisted his ankle pretty painfully halfway through. Looks like he brings a load and a season in a college weight room would enhance that. He does not yet have an offer from TCU, but reports he will be coming in for a visit in January.
