Hackenberg Impresses in UA Prep

Penn State quarterback pledge Christian Hackenberg is impressing practice observers in preparations for Under Armour Game.

Penn State quarterback commitment Christian Hackenberg is at at Walt Disney Wolrd's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando this week preparing for the UnderArmour All-American Game. Through the early practices reports on Hackenberg have been impressive.

As Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brandon Huffman explained, "Christian Hackenberg has been the best and most consistent quarterback on either team throughout the week, and had another good day for Team Black, taking the reins of the offense."

Huffman points to Hackenberg's "smooth release" and ability to put "a lot of spin on his throws" as two strong points of his play in drills.

Yancy Porter from Scout's Mississippi site has also been impressed with the future Nittany Lions, saying, "Christian Hackenberg has the best release and form out of all of the QB's here."

That's pretty high praise considering Alabama commit Cooper Bateman, Miami QB commit Kevin Olsen and Michigan QB commit Shane Morris are all drilling as well for the UnderArmour All-American Game this week.
