Trinity won the 6-A state championship this season. One of their defensive stars was Jabari Jordan. Jordan, 5-foot-10, 260-pounds, had a pretty big year.

"I think I had my best season in high school. I finished up with 72 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, six sacks and one touchdown," said Jordan.

Recruiting is going pretty well for Jordan as well.

"Recruiting is starting to pick up. I've been talking to Louisville, Western Kentucky, Murray State, Tennessee-Martin and Colorado State," said Jordan.

Jordan has some offers from smaller schools and believes and in-state program is about to give him an offer.

"I have offers from Georgetown (Ky.), Charleston (WV.), Ave Maria (Fl.), Kentucky State and Lindsey Wilson," said Jordan. "Murray State is coming to my school next week and I think that's when I'll get my offer from them," he finished.
