Semper Fi: Top Five Offense

CARSON, Calif. -- The Semper Fi All-American game was filled with offensive playmakers for both teams. Look inside to see which five players stood out...

Devon Allen, WR, Phoenix (AZ) Brophey Prep, Undecided

The 6-1, 190-pound wide receiver got the West offense started with a 25-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Matthew Alviti. Allen had a solid week of practice, getting better with each day and he emerged as the favorite target for West team quarterbacks. Allen finished the game with six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Darrell Daniels, WR, Oakley (CA) Freedom, Washington commit

The 6-3, 210-pound wide receiver contributed to the West team in a variety of ways on Friday night. Daniels pulled in a 9-yard touchdown reception, threw a terrific block to spring quarterback Anu Solomon for a nice gain and made a big hit on the punt team.

Alex Collins, RB, Plantation (FL) South Plantation, Undecided

The five-star tailback didn't get as many touches we would have liked, but he was still a key factor on the game-winning drive for the East. Collins ran tough, breaking tackles and getting yards after contact.

Anu Solomon, QB, Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman, Arizona commit

The Arizona verbal commit showed why he will be a perfect fit in Rich Rodriguez's offense, by making big plays with his arm and his legs. The dual threat quarterback eluded the pass rush all night, and even ran over a few East defenders in the process. Solomon had a solid week of practice but looked even better under the bright lights.

Levonte Whitfield, WR, Orlando (FL) Jones, Florida State commit

The speedy Whitfield had the play of the night, racing 72 yards untouched on a kickoff return for a touchdown. Whitfield has elite speed and showed that he could be a weapon on special teams as well as in the passing game for Florida State.
