"I have offers from Duke, ECU, N.C. State, and Appalachian State," said Wynn.
Along with the schools that have offered, others are also pursuing him.
"I'm getting more mail from North Carolina than any other school," he said. "I get something from them every day. I also call Coach (Gunter) Brewer like twice a week. I think an offer from them is coming."
Three schools are leading for Wynn.
"My top three right now is North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson – they're all pretty even," he said.
The Monroe standout plans to visit some schools soon.
"I'm going to Clemson's junior day with me teammate Jaylan Barbour," he said. "I think it's in February or March. I think we are also going to North Carolina and N.C. State's, too."
"As far as our team, we always go to the Duke Camp," he said. "I'll also probably go to camps at Clemson, North Carolina, and N.C. State."
Wynn is a versatile prospect and could play a number of positions at the next level.
"Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete," Wynn said. "I don't mind playing running back in college, but with my size I see myself more as a DB or slot receiver. I don't care where I play as long as I get on the field."
While recruiting is important, Wynn said he is also focused on becoming a better player.
"I'm just trying to put some weight on, and I'm trying to work on my speed," Wynn said.
"I want to be the best player out there next year and try to help us go all the way, too."
