Wildcats Land Peterson

Kentucky continues to work Ohio hard earning the pledge of two-way lineman Lovell Peterson.

After taking an official visit to Kentucky last month Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne two-way lineman Lovell Peterson came away impressed with the direction of the Wildcats program under new head coach Mark Stoops.

Thursday night Peterson ended any speculation about his future by giving Wildcats assistant coach Vince Marrow his verbal pledge to be the newest member of the Wildcats.

Peterson had the following to say.

"I committed to coach Marrow on Thursday night," said Peterson by text message. "I'll be talking with Coach Stoops in the next couple of days."

Peterson who was unable to speak on the phone will tell Scout.com more about his commitment on Saturday.
