Treadwell, Three Uncles Visiting OSU

For all those wondering, five-star and All-American wide receiver Laquon Treadwell of Crete-Monee, Ill., has arrived for his visit to Oklahoma State.

Treadwell's mother was unable to make the trip from Illinois to Stillwater, Okla., but he is joined on his trip by three uncles, including Ricky Young, the former All-American linebacker who played for the Cowboys from 1978 to 1982.

Treadwell has said that Mississippi is his leader, and he even stopped in Birmingham, Ala., last weekend on his way home from playing in the Under Armour All-American Game to watch Mississippi's bowl win over Pittsburgh.

This fall Treadwell had 81 receptions for 1,424 yards and 16 touchdowns in leading Crete-Monee to an Illinois State championship. Treadwell had six catches for 85 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 93 yards and a score in his final game to win state.

Treadwell says he plans to announce his college decision at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17.
