LSU hosts its first junior day of 2013 tomorrow and John Curtis Christian LB Kenny Young could be in line to get an offer...

  • A select group of prospects will descend on Baton Rouge tomorrow for LSU's initial junior day of the year. John Curtis LB Kenny Young and Ouachita WR Cameron Sims are two players who could get an offer from the Tigers. Young has an offer from Ole Miss, while Sims already holds several. Both Young and Sims are ranked among the top 300 juniors in the nation.

  • Tulane has two big back-to-back recruiting weekends on deck. This weekend, the Green Wave welcomes a handful of visitors including the program's most recent commitment, safety Jarrod Franklin of University Lab. Next weekend the list will swell as many more Tulane targets and commitments take their officials.

  • Two Tulane pledges that will visit next weekend - O.P. Walker defenders Corey Smith and Lyn Clark - each received new offers from Louisville and Kentucky. Smith was expected to arrive at Arizona State for a visit today.

  • Four-star LSU 2013 commit Tre'Davious White saw his stock rise after a sizzling performance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. White is ranked as the No. 6 senior CB in the nation.

  • LSU picked up a huge pledge from four-star Kendell Beckwith during the UA game. Beckwith had this to say on Twitter: "My decision to come to LSU over Alabama was mainly because of the fans. Y'all are the best in college football #TigerNation."

  • Archbishop Rummel senior TE/FB Cethan Carter is taking his official visit to Nebraska this weekend. The Cornhuskers offered Carter late last month.

  • The Arkansas Razorbacks cut ties with all of their Louisiana commits after new head coach Bret Bielema took over. The most recent defection was three-star TE Deondre Skinner from Patterson.

  • The Southern Jaguars are looking to make a statement with their 2013 recruiting class. Over the next two weeks, Southern will host a talented contingent of visitors headlined by former LSU wide receiver commit Chuck Baker.
