"Of course they have great dorms, their facilities were great, and we were surprised by the amount of one-on-one time Jalen got with the coaches. We did not really expect that with this happening so fast with FSU."
"It really was all about Jeremy because Jalen liked Alabama and he really liked Jeremy when he was there. We were going to visit Alabama at one time. He is a very good coach, Jalen liked him, and he was great during the visit."
Another former Alabama coach has helped the Seminoles try to get into the race.
"Sal Sunseri is a coach Jalen has liked too. Jeremy was recruiting Jalen for Alabama and Sal was recruiting him for Tennessee, so Sal was part of this too."
After spending the weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. where does the No. 2 cornerback in the country stand with his USC commitment?
"To be honest, Jalen is still committed to USC. We just want to see who the new defensive coordinator will be. We want to meet him, see what type of defense he likes to run, and things like that.
"Jalen likes USC as a school, he likes the location of the school, and he loves Tee Martin, but like every kid, he has a dream of playing in the NFL, so he wants to know what type of defense USC will be running in the future."
If something does not mesh with the new defensive coordinator and Ramsey, FSU may have made themselves a player for the top prospect in Tennessee.
"They really did a good job. They showed him how he would fit in, how they would use him, and how they really need him there. Jalen felt very wanted and they showed us that. They have a great school and we really liked how the coaches were so laid back during the visit."
Ramsey is set to visit USC this weekend and that will be his final official visit.
