Stringfellow gave a public commitment to Washington at their Rising Stars camp in June but had actually been a silent commit to the Huskies since taking an unofficial visit back in the spring.
"I'm still as solid as you can be in my commitment to Washington," Stringfellow said. "I'm going to take this visit to USC this weekend just for the fun of it though. Earlier in the year, Coach Cregg used to call me a lot but I hadn't heard much from them in a while.
"Then this week, they kind of randomly showed up at my school and asked if I wanted to visit. I wasn't going to take any more visits because I shut things down but I figured it was cool to visit USC since it's so close to home and I have a friend and former teammate there, Junior Pomee. He's going to host me so that should be a good time."
Stringfellow said he hasn't had a chance to talk to anyone at Washington yet toi let them about the visit but plans to do so.
"They don't have anything to worry about," Stringfellow said. "I'll let them know but I'm solid and everyone knows that. I can't wait to get to Washington, I think we're building something pretty special and have a great class coming in. We have some great receivers and quarterbacks in the program and I'm ready to get rolling right now."
