Even with the coaching change, Sutton hasn't swayed from his plans to be in Boulder.
Over the weekend, Sutton was one of a number of official visitors to Colorado.
"It was amazing there," said Sutton. "I'd been there a few times but just walking around and seeing the campus and the facilities and the stadium was awesome."
Sutton was able to spend time with new head coach Mike MacIntyre, as well as the rest of the Buff coaches.
"It was my first time being face to face with them and I thought they were amazing people and coaches," said Sutton. "I'm anxious to see what Colorado can be in the future."
Sutton was impressed with MacIntyre.
"He seems like another great coach and in person, he cares about us more than football players. That was great and he was really stressing that to the parents."
Sutton was hosted by lineman Brad Cotnor and also met several of the other players.
"Brad was my host and I spent a lot of time with Stephan Nembot," said Sutton. "You can tell by his body type he could be in the NFL."
Sutton also did some recruiting of his own on the trip.
"I was talking to the uncommitted guys about how much I love Colorado and why I committed so early and why I knew it was the place for me," said Sutton.
Joining Sutton on the trip was quarterback commit Sefo Liufau, like Sutton, an early commit who stuck with the Buffs.
"Sefo and I talked a lot and he's a great guy," said Sutton. "We're both two of the first commits and we were sold on Colorado from the beginning and excited to start playing there."
