Jacobs Picks Wisconsin

Wisconsin head coach Gary Andersen and his staff continue its hot streak, picking up its second verbal commitment in three days from Santa Clarita (CA.) Golden Valley linebacker Leon Jacobs.

MADISON - If Wisconsin is switching to the 3-4 defense, the Badgers will be in need of more outside linebackers to make defensive coordinator Dave Aranda's system work.

Santa Clarita (CA.) Golden Valley linebacker Leon Jacobs fits that build.

The 6-4, 220 pound Jacobs- a two star recruit ranked the No.115 outside linebacker in the country by Scout.com – committed to Wisconsin during his official visit to the University on Saturday, according to a source with the program.

Jacobs confirmed his decision via text soon after to Scout.com.

The former Fresno State commit is the 14th full scholarship player in the Wisconsin 2013 recruiting class and the 17th overall.

Jacobs picked Wisconsin over offers from Nevada, Navy, Wake Forest, Fresno State and Air Force among many others.

Badger Nation will catch up with Jacobs following his official visit when permitted to
