Westerville-South (OH) junior Darryl Long has picked up offers from Bowling Green, Illinois, Ohio, Pittsburgh and Toledo. On Saturday, the tight end added another school to his list.
"Indiana just offered me," said Long Saturday night. "It was kind of a surprise. The coaches came to my school last week and have been in touch with me. I just called the tight ends coach and he and Coach Wilson offered. They're definitely a school I'll consider."
The junior is excited about picking up his second Big Ten offer.
"It's big, very big. I'm just thankful."
So where do the Hoosiers rank among Long's other offers?
"They go in the top definitely along with Illinois, Pittsburgh and Toledo. But I don't want to rule any schools out yet."
Long is visiting Illinois this weekend and will be at Pittsburgh next week.
