Kentucky added a big piece to its 2013 football recruiting class on Monday when three-star Cypress Bay (Fla.) High School wide receiver Alex Montgomery announced via the Twitter social network that he will play for the Wildcats.
"I made my decision and I'm going to Kentucky #BBN WELCOME," Montgomery wrote.
Montgomery (6-1, 195, 4.6) picked the Cats over Louisville and Central Florida. He also had offers from programs like Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Duke and N.C. State.
Stay tuned for more details on his commitment to Mark Stoops' program as they become available.
