The Final East 100 for 2013

The nation's top running back, Richond (Va.) Hermitage's Derrick Green, leads the East's final Top 100 for the class of 2013...

Derrick Green possesses a combination of power, balance, acceleration and speed to be the premier running back in FOXSportsNEXT 2013recruiting class, and those attributes also landed him atop the final East 100rankings.

The Hermitage High (Richmond, Va.) five-star prospect and Michigan commit jumped from No. 6 in the preseason East 100 rankings, and is one of four Michigan commits in the top 22 of the final rankings.

Penn State and Virginia Tech each has 10 prospects in the East100 while Rutgers had seven, Notre Dame, Virginia and West Virginia each placed six on the list and Pittsburgh added five.

Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) five-star defensive tackle Kenny Bigelow, who is already enrolled at USC, is No. 2 in the rankings followed by Monaca (Pa.) Central Valley High receiver Robert Foster (Alabama commit), Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) cornerback Kendall Fuller (Virginia Tech) and North Allegheny High (Wexford, Pa.) offensive guard Patrick Kugler.

The top 10 is rounded out by Penn State quarterback commit Christian Hackenberg of Fork Union (Va.) High, Alabama defensive end commit Jonathan Allen of Stone Bridge High (Ashburn, Va.), Penn State tight end commit Adam Breneman of Cedar Cliff High (Camp Hill, Pa.), Notre Dame offensive guard commit John Montelus of Everett (Mass.) High and Miami quarterback commit Kevin Olsen of Wayne (N.J.) Hills High.

Penn State is led by Hackenberg and Breneman. Beyond them are defensive end Garrett Sickels (No. 30), linebacker Zayd Issah (32),offensive tackle Andrew Nelson (44), defensive end Curtis Cothran (50),receiver DeShawn Hamilton (54), offensive guard Brandon Mahon (57), middle linebacker Brandon Bell (60) and offensive lineman Tanner Hartman.

Michigan has four prospects from the Top 100 committed, and the all rank high. Green and Kugler are joined by Fuller and followed by linebacker Holland Fisher (11), defensive tackle Wyatt Teller (37), quarterback Bucky Hodges (45), cornerback CeQuan Jefferson (59), offensive tackle Parker Osterloh(69), offensive guard Braxton Pfaff (71), cornerback Charles Clark (79),running back Daniel Reid (80) and linebacker Andrew Motuapuaka (94).

Rutgers' top prospect on the list is offensive guard Dorian Miller (36) followed by cornerback Nadir Barnwell (39), defensive end Kemoko Turay (52), defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph (53), outside linebacker Myles Nash (55), receiver Andre Patton (75) and safety T.J. Taylor (95).

Notre Dame's six are led by Montelus and followed by offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey (15), receiver Will Fuller (26), linebacker Doug Randolph (43), cornerback Devin Butler (47) and cornerback Rashad Kinlaw(47).

West Virginia's top prospect is offensive tackle Marcel Lazard (66) followed by running back Wendell Smallwood (74), running back DeShawn Coleman (82), defensive end Marvin Gross (89), safety Daryl Worley(90), receiver Daikiel Shorts (93) and quarterback Chavas Rawlins (99).

Virginia's represented on the list by running back Tiquan Mizzell (18), cornerback Kirk Gardner (46), linebacker Zach Bradshaw (56), offensive tackle Sadiq Olanrewaju (64), quarterback Corwin Cutler (70) and quarterback Brendan Marshall (83).

Pittsburgh's five were by offensive tackle Dorian Johnson(23), followed by receiver/safety Tyler Boyd (25), tight end Scot Orndoff (76), fullback Jaymar Parrish (86) and safety Titus Howard (96).

In addition to Green and Kugler, Michigan also landed Maurice Hurst Jr. (21) and Henry Poggi (22).
