Beaverton (Ore.) Aloha's Thomas Tyner and Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln's Justin Davis top the West's top running backs final list for 2013...

West: Final Top Ten Running Backs
Location: Beaverton, Ore.
High School: Aloha
Size: 6-0/200
Recruiting: Committed to Oregon
The Skinny: Tyner had a monster senior season, including a 10-touchdown game in September, and moved into the top spot with a season to remember.  The U.S. Army All-American is the top prospect to come out of Oregon since Ndamukong Suh.
Location: Stockton, Calif.
High School: Lincoln
Size: 6-1, 195
Recruiting: Committed to USC
The Skinny: The top back in California is one of the most physically gifted prospects in the country, especially running the ball between the tackles.  A U.S. Army All-American, he enrolled early at USC.
Location: West Hills, Calif.
High School: Chaminade
Size: 5-10/180
Recruiting: Committed to Nebraska
The Skinny: Few players in the Golden State went off this season like Newby.  He had an eight-touchdown game in a memorable performance, and went from a mid-three-star to the top running back in the Southland.
Location: Redlands, Calif.
High School: Redlands
Size: 6-0/188
Recruiting: Committed to UCLA
The Skinny: Lee doesn't talk much and is relatively low-key, but on the field, he was anything but low-key.  He's the kind of back who got stronger as the game rolls on and he'll have a chance to play as a true freshman.
Location: San Diego, Calif.
High School: Madison
Size: 5-11/180
Recruiting: Committed to Arizona
The Skinny: Cormier had a big senior season which culminated with him leading Madison to the CIF State D-III title, the first state title for a San Diego public school.  The future Arizona back carried his team on his back in the state finals and moved into the top five on the strength of his senior campaign.

The Next Five:
6. Lavon Coleman (Lompoc, Calif.)- Committed to Washington
7. Zachary Green (Ventura, Calif.)- Committed to Arizona
8. Aaron Baltazar (Chula Vista, Calif.)- Committed to Boise State
9. Khalfani Muhammad (Sherman Oaks, Calif.)- Committed to California
10. Gerard Wicks (Long Beach, Calif.)- Committed to Washington State

Location: Lakeside, Ariz.
High School: Blue Ridge
Size: 6-3/230
Recruiting: Committed to Arizona State
The Skinny: Cox stars on both sides of the ball, showing out at both inside linebacker and fullback. On defense, he shows his toughness and excellent football instincts while showing his speed, quickness and high level athleticism at fullback. He's a tough kid who covers a lot of ground at linebacker and is a natural run stuffer. At fullback he's quick through the hole with good hands out of the backfield and could easily play on either side of the ball in college.  Cox played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
