"It's a college town. The campus is huge, the people are really nice and there are very little distractions" he said.
The on-field opportunity Mississippi State can offer Irvin-Sills is also a plus.
"I liked the fact that I could come in and compete at a spot that is open, I mean they are losing a lot of corners and that's always a good thing. And for the few days I was there I really didn't want to leave, just hanging with the players and getting their perspective on things made the trip even more impressive," said the cornerback.
When it comes to his future as a Bulldog, Irvin-Sills is all business. "I'm coming to fill a position, I have big shoes to fill following Banks and Slay. I'm the man for the job. I can carry the torch,"said Sills.
"I'll make my big appearance on the field, vs Oklahoma State," he added.
