Moore dons Crimson and Cream

NORMAN, Okla. — The Sooners capped off their 2013 recruiting class with a bang, receiving a signature from prized Fresno Central High East Campus four-star cornerback L.J. Moore early Wednesday evening.

Moore, the 24th-ranked prospect at his position in the country, has tremendous ball skills and reads plays out instinctually as good as anyone.

He's got nice size that could allow him to be flexible position-wise once arriving at OU, moving over to safety if necessary.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound corner who is teammates with fellow Sooner defensive back signee Hatari Byrd is listed as the sixth best corner in the West Region and there are high hopes he could make an impact early in his career.

Moore becomes the fifth secondary signee in this class, joining fellow four-star cornerback Stanvon Taylor, three-star cornerback Dakota Austin and three-star safety Ahmad Thomas as well as Byrd.

With Moore inking, the Sooners finalize their class with 24 new members and will finish 15th in the FOX Sports NEXT recruiting rankings.
