Scott Daniel is an under the radar type of prospect in the state of Kentucky so far. But his production is undeniable. As a junior, in a run-heavy offense, he caught 34 passes for 817 yards and 12 touchdowns.
In the early stages, he has been hearing mostly from Murray State and Wofford, but he got an opportunity to check out Kentucky this weekend and had an enjoyable visit.
"(The visit) was incredible. I got to meet a lot of coaches and staff and tour everything," Daniel said.
Daniel had a chance to speak a lot with Kentucky offensive coordinator Neal Brown and receivers coach Tommy Mainord.
"I talked a lot with coach Brown and coach Mainord about the offense and past coaching experiences and everything I could talk about," Daniel said.
Daniel said that the staff made the recruits feel like they were all a part of the future at UK.
"They did (talk about how I'd fit into the offense)," Daniel said. "They talked to all of us like we are future players (at Kentucky)."
Daniel overall had a great experience with the coaches and the recruits on campus.
"We got to try on jerseys in the locker room and go to the stadium and indoor facility. It was great. It would be amazing to play there," Daniel finished.
