The two new offers for Melvin come from Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh. "It is always great to get new offers espcially when they are from schools you really like."

The offer from Georgia Tech is one that Keihn was hoping to get. "I really liked getting one from Georgia Tech." Education is important to Melvin and he plans to major in engineering. "Georgia Tech will be one of the schools I will be considering."

Keihn has talked to Georgia Tech Coach Joe Speed. "He said they really love my high energy and the fact I go all out all the time." Tech is recruiting Keihn as an outside linebacker for their new defensive scheme. Most of the schools recruiting Melvin like him as an outside linebacker with some liking him as a rush defensive end.

In addition to Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, and Penn State are some of the schools showing interest in Melvin.

Education will be the most important factor in Keihn's decision making process. "I want a college that has a great engineering program." Melvin will also be looking for coaches that show interest in all aspects of his college life and not just for what he can do on the field. "I want a school where I feel comfortable with my surroundings and the people there."

Melvin is undecided about when he'll be making his college choice. "If I feel that I need to make a visit or two, I will most likely decide in the middle or after my senior high school season." Keihn, however, hopes to be able to decide before his senior senior year starts. "It could go either way."
