Odenigbo Ready For His Turn

Two years ago Tito Odenigbo watched brother Ifeadi maneuver the recruiting process before signing with Northwestern. Tito is now ready for his turn and discusses his first two offers and the other programs showing interest.

The time is now for Centerville (Ohio) defensive lineman Tito Odenigbo with two early offers and several other programs showing interest.

"Right now some are saying I've got an offer from Cincinnati," said Odenigbo. "I do not have an offer from them but I'm talking with the new staff and they don't want to offer me too fast as they want to see me.

"I do have offers from Akron and Bowling Green. I'm also hearing from Minnesota, Purdue, Ball State and Ohio. Illinois stopped by school one time but I wasn't there."

With older brother Ifeadi at Northwestern an offer from the Wildcats would be a hard one to turn down.

"Northwestern would be hard to say no to since that is my brothers school," said Odenigbo. "Northwestern is a great school and I love all the coaches and stuff."

At 6-foot-3, 252-pounds, Odenigbo is a different player from his brother but also brings quickness to the field.

"I'm not as fast as Ifeadi," explained Odenigbo. "My forty is only about 4.6 or 4.7."

According to Odenigbo, two programs would stand out if they offer.

"When I was a kid I grew up a Minnesota and Illinois fan," said Odenigbo. "I'm a closet Minnesota fan but I'm a big Illinois fan.

"I love the football team and keep up with what they are doing. I'm also a big basketball fan."

NOTE Odenigbo's father graduated from Illinois.
