Monroe Has First Big 12 Visit

FOX Sports NEXT has the update on Bush quarterback Ronald Monroe from Richmond, Texas. He will be making his first trip this upcoming weekend.

Busy playing basketball, Richmond (TX) Bush quarterback Ronald Monroe has not had much time to get and check out any college football programs.

That is until this weekend.

"I will be attending TCU this upcoming weekend," Monroe said.

The visit to Fort Worth, TX will be the first for the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Monroe said. So far the three-star athlete has a single offer from Houston, but has LSU, Northwestern, SMU and Texas Tech also checking in on him.

Monroe is expecting a much more busy spring as it pertains to interest and offers.

"Recruiting is going slow, but I guess it's good," Monroe said.

This past season, Monroe threw for 1,932 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also had close to 300 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
