Florida OL getting looks

Josh Rice is a talented offensive line prospect from Lake Nona High in Orlando, and he's getting some college looks.

Josh Rice is a very good offensive lineman at Lake Nona High in Orlando. He's coming off a good junior season and is starting to collect some recruiting attention.

"I have gotten letters from Alabama, LSU, Miami and Duke," Rice said. "The ones I really like are Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Liberty."

Rice, 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, has the ability to play guard or center and projects at either position at the college level. He talked about the school that jumps out most to him right now.

"It's Alabama because of its diversity of academics and its strong athletic program. There is a lot of leadership seen at that school."

The talented offensive line prospect talked about some of the things he'll be looking for when choosing a school.

"A strong foundation in athletics that is rooted to its academics. I want to got to a school with a big emphasis on the student-athlete," he said.
