Freeman currently has offers from Duke, Stanford and Indiana. He is also drawing attention from Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Harvard, and Boston College. "Georgia Tech and Boston College both have been communicating with my mom and I and we both feel that an offer from each school will be coming soon."

Prior to accepting a position at Florida State, Freeman was being recruited at Georgia Tech by Charles Kelly. Coach Buzz Preston is now recruiting KeShun. "Coach Preston has stepped in and we are talking like nothing has changed. He is a great person to talk with and he relates well with us."

Freeman was in Durham recently to visit Duke. He was there for a short time but enjoyed the visit. "We also went to Georgia for their Junior Day this weekend and had a really good time there."

KeShun's first Junior Day visit was to Georgia Tech. "I had an amazing time there." Freeman got to see their plans for the defense that Tech will run next season. "They said I would be a good fit at outside linebacker because of my size and speed (6' 3"-218 and a 4.6 forty time)."

Aside from his talents on the football field, KeShun also excels in the classroom. "I have a 3.78 GPA and a weighted GPA of 4.0." Freeman will stress academics as a factor in choosing a school. Location will probably also play a part in Freeman's decision. "I will try and have an open mind about each school concerning distance."

Four schools currently stand out as favorites for KeShun. "Right now Stanford, Duke, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech are the ones I like. I really like Georgia Tech a lot."

When spring practices begin, Freeman has plans to visit Georgia Tech, Boston College, Stanford, and Duke. "I think one or two of them will be for the spring games."

Freeman is not looking to rush into his decision when making his college choice. "I will do my research and make sure my decision is the right one." KeShun and his mom agree that he needs to be a man of his word. "It will be around November or December before I make my decision."
