Thorson On Cuse

The offers keep rolling in for Wheaton North (Ill.) quarterback Clayton Thorson who talks about his latest offer from Syracuse.

One of the Midwest's best 2014 quarterbacks, Wheaton North (Ill.) Clayton Thorson added his twelfth offer Tuesday.

The 6-foot-4, 200 pound signal caller picked up an offer from Syracuse.

"One thing I like about the Syracuse offer Is probably that the offense that is more pro-style," Thorson said. "That would translate well to the next level because that is a goal of mine."

That is not the only thing that Throson likes about Cuse so far.

"What is cool about the Syracuse offer is that Coach Lester is from Wheaton so we have something in common," Thorson said. "And the offense that Syracuse has run in the past years is the type of offense I would like to get involved in."

Thorson has offers from Iowa, Illinois, Penn State, and is hearing from plenty of others.

"Other than the 12 schools that have offered me," Thorson said. "I've been talking to Tennessee, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Ohio State, Maryland, Duke, and North Carolina."
