Parkway junior QB Brandon Harris holds offers from McNeese State and Louisiana Tech with more to follow soon. He'll attend Texas A&M's junior day next month...

  • Brandon Harris will travel from Bossier City to College Station in early March for Texas A&M's junior day. Harris, who led Parkway to the 5A quarterfinals, is part of a deep 2014 group of in-state signal-callers along with with Donovan Isom (Destrehan), Quentin Gibson (Archbishop Shaw), Ryan Sibley (Broadmoor), Raymond Crochet (Salmen), Raymond Bonnette (Loreauville), Jacob Barton (Caldwell Parish) and Glen Cuiellette (Mandeville). Don't overlook Omari Jones (McMain) or Ryan Cooper (Homer). Both are prep signal-callers with the versatility to man several spots.

  • Two prominent 2013 prospects made post-NSD choices this week. Warren Easton LB Edward Williams committed to Texas Tech, while Denham Springs DT Tevin Lawson inked with TCU. Both were long-time commits to other schools before re-opening things late in the recruiting process.

  • New Iberia 2014 DB/RB Daniel Lewis attended LSU's junior day and was invited to Boise State. He'll attend the Cajuns' junior day in Lafayette, as well. More details soon.

  • 2015 Many OT Garrett Thomas will be at Alabama's junior day this weekend. The 6-6, 290-pounder will also be at Texas A&M's junior day. LSU, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State are all showing interest.

  • Four-star LSU TE commit Jacory Washington (Westlake) grabbed an offer from Auburn. At LSU's second junior day, Washington put in work helping the staff recruit University OL Garrett Brumfield and Mansfield (TX) Timberview DB Edward Paris.

  • 2017 University RB/LB Dylan Moses departs at 4:30 A.M. tomorrow for junior day at Bama. The 6-1, 215-pound eighth-grader holds an LSU offer.

  • Covington DT Garrald McDowell reported a new offer from the Ragin' Cajuns.

  • Louisville likes 2014 TE Anthony Jones out of 4A state champ Karr. The Cardinals signed 2013 OLB Lyn Clark from O.P. Walker.

  • 2014 WR Cameron Sims named Alabama as his favorite after the Tide offered at its first junior day. The 6-4, 195-pounder leads Ouachita into the second-round of the 5A hoops bracket tonight. He was at LSU's first junior day but didn't participate in the second. Sims plans to be at TCU's junior day.

  • John Curtis Christian juniors Malachi Dupre, Kenny Young, Terrence Alexander and Mattrell McGraw have kept recruiters busy over the past two weeks. Dupre's new offers include Notre Dame, Michigan and Miami. Young has pocketed offers from Michigan, Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma State and many more. Arizona State, Nebraska, Houston and Indiana are among the suitors that have pulled the trigger on both Alexander and McGraw. All four Patriots have surpassed the double-digit offer mark.
