New Offers in for Phillips

FOX Sports NEXT was informed on some new information regarding Pearland linebacker Justin Phillips, who has been contacted recently with more good news…

For the past couple of weeks, things have been going well for Pearland (TX) linebacker Justin Phillips. He has lots of interest coming from college coaches.

And some of that has turned into offers.

"He (Justin) has gotten three offers over the last couple of weeks," Phillips' father told FOX Sports NEXT. "Two weeks ago, Boise State offered and this past Thursday, Baylor and Colorado offered that night."

Now that 6-foot, 212-pound Phillips has five offers, with Oklahoma State and Northwestern already on the list. Phillips, who has already been invited to a number of junior days, including LSU (a trip they were not able to make), plans to be in Stillwater, OK on March 12-14 to check out the campus and take it all in.

Arizona State and Texas Tech are recruiting him heavily as well. Phillips averaged 10 tackles a game last season.
