Florida Lineman Picks Up Missouri Offer

The Missouri Tigers have extended a verbal offer to a talented Florida line prospect who says he hopes to visit Mizzou sometime over the summer. ShowMeMizzou.com has his thoughts on the offer and the Tigers.

The Missouri Tigers have extended a scholarship offer to 2014 OL prospect Isaiah Wynn 6’3” 272 St. Petersburg (FL) Lakewood. Recently, Wynn spoke with ShowMeMizzou.com, and the talented lineman talked about his Missouri offer, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“Missouri offered me a scholarship,” confirmed Wynn, who said that Missouri assistant Brian Jones recently informed him of the offer. “I was very excited! Coach Jones was here last year to look at some (2013) kids. He just seemed legit.”

Wynn currently holds offers from FSU, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Ohio, UCF, USF, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and Youngstown State, among others, in addition to Missouri.

“I’m doing research on Missouri,” explained Wynn. “And, I’m building a relationship with Coach Jones and the rest of the staff. I’m just hoping to learn from the (Missouri) staff what they have to offer.”

Wynn projects as an offensive guard in college. He self-reported a 5.3 forty. In the bench press, he’s done 12 reps at 225 pounds.

Playing in Florida, Wynn routinely goes up against quality defensive linemen. I asked him about playing against such good competition?

“I love it! I really enjoy it,” exclaimed the big offensive lineman.

Then, he explained what it is that allows him to compete with the best.

“I’m a crazy, nasty lineman," explained Wynn. "I like to be dominant.”

Wynn said that he would like to visit Missouri “sometime over the summer”. He’s planning to visit Vanderbilt in March.
