Patterson and his staff think enough of the 6'3, 295 pound lineman to invite him to an exclusive junior day on TCU's campus.
Brown said they were shown the football uniforms, locker rooms and facilities upon arriving before getting to talk with the Frogs' head coach Gary Patterson.
"We then had meetings with our position coaches, and I had Coach Williamson, but I think the best thing about it was there were only like 5 or 6 people there. It was really exclusive," Brown said.
Williamson impressed the rising high school senior with his football knowledge and experience coaching great offensive linemen.
"He was really cool. We watched film about what they do, and he showed us a few of their plays and taught us a little bit about their offense," Brown said. "He talked to us a little bit about each position and where he thinks we would fit in if we were to go to TCU."
At the end of the day, Brown also got some time to speak one-on-one with Coach Patterson.
"At the end when we went in and talked to Coach Sharp, we also talked to Coach Patterson, and he said they are probably going to come down the first or second day of Spring ball and watch me snap, and they said if I can snap well, they will probably offer me."
With an offer from TCU possibly on the way, Brown explained a little bit about what he will be looking for in whichever school he chooses.
"For me, first I like a school that has great academics because football is going to end eventually, and I want to have a great education to fall back on and be able to get a good job," Brown explained.
Brown said that he has been to bigger campuses, but he liked the size of the TCU campus.
"I like the size of the small campuses better," Brown said.
