"I picked up an offer from Nebraska today," Scott said. "Nebraska was my 18th offer. I think that Nebraska is a good school, but I haven't ruled anyone out or anything like that. I am still open."
Scott just started track practices and is limiting his exposure to cold weather injury by not doing a lot of sprints early in the year. He says as the season goes on he will likely run the 100m later in the season.
"I just started track practice and our first meet is this Thursday. I probably won't do any sprints because it's supposed to be kind of cold. As it warms up though I will probably run the 100m later."
Scott will double dip later in April when his team will kick off spring football practices. He says that he will be able to juggle them and that he's trying to help his team make it back to state this season.
"We do have spring practices. I think that they start in April, I think. We have some rules about the numbers of players on the field at once for safety and to avoid contact. I am looking forward to trying to win a state title."
