Florida DB Impresses at 7on7

Andrew Soroh is a talented safety prospect from American High in Hialeah. He played for the South Florida Express in the NLA 7on7 Tournament last weekend and turned in a strong performance.

Andrew Soroh missed some time as a junior because of an injury but still managed to put his name on the recruiting map.

A strong performance at the Step It Up Combine last month was just the beginning. He followed it up with a strong showing at a 7on7 tournament over the weekend.

"I have been doing football practice, been in the weight room and staying up on my grades," Soroh said.

At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, he already has ideal size for a major college safety. He is still waiting on his first offer, though.

"No one has offered me yet," he said. "I like UM, Florida, FSU and LSU. The top ones are Miami and Florida State but all of those programs are very similar in that they produce great DB's, they play hard and play strong and I just love to watch them play."

The talented defensive back prospect talked about what he'll be looking for in a school.

"First and foremost will be the type of education and then the amount of playing time I will get."
