"Getting my first offer from Kent State was exciting, and it just proved that all my hard work is paying off for me," Stone stated. "I need to keep working and not slack off, because I'm hoping for bigger offers."
"I have built myself up to 180-pounds, and now I'm working on getting faster," he added. "Everybody is recruiting me as a cornerback, but a few have mentioned playing safety. Position doesn't matter to me, because I just want to play."
Although the three MAC offers are a good start for Stone, he is also hearing from several other top BCS programs.
"I'm hearing from Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh and Penn State," he explained. "I would love to play in the Big Ten, and I'm going to go to as many camps as possible next summer. I will go work out for any team that's showing interest in me, and right now I would say that would be Penn State of the schools that have not offered yet."
