Barden With Patience

Standout quarterback from the Peach state looking for first offer. The 6'3 and 210-pound signal caller checks in from Cartersville (GA) Cartersville high school and is one to watch in 2014.

Brooks Barden caught up with about offers, camps and his game. Barden does not have dates set up for future visits but will take some trips soon.

"I have no current offers. I plan to visit North Carolina and several other schools later this spring. Most coaches that I've talked to have asked me to come up later in the spring so I can sit in on meetings and watch practice because junior days are so hectic. I'm looking to meet lots of coaches and develop a relationship with each one, and start to see which school is right for me. I would say my strength is my knowledge and understanding of the game because my dad is my head coach. I think I see the field well and make accurate passes."

"I talk to Coach Anderson from North Carolina, Coach Fisher from Penn State, and just recently Coach Mazzone from UCLA at least once every two weeks, and lots of other coaches through Facebook. Me and my dad are going to sit down sometime this week and talk about where we are going to visit this spring. I know North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia for sure."
