Darin Smalls with the Latest

One of the top players in the state of South Carolina is looking to add another big offer from one of the top teams in the Southeastern Conference. Defensive back Darin Smalls checks in from Summerville (SC) and could play corner or safety at the next level.

Darin Smalls talks about the Florida Gators, recruiting and his game. The 5'11 200 pound defensive back is a wanted man.

"I have a lot of interest in Florida and hope to be offered by them someday. I have offers from South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, Florida State and Virginia Tech. I might go and visit VT in April and I talk to the USC coaches the most. In the recruiting process I'm looking for what schools have to offer and the education."

"For people that have not seen my play I am really fast, tackle good, play the ball, catch well, return punts and kicks better than anyone else and good coverage skills especially man coverage. I want to work on my game even more though."
