Cook collects second offer

Cole Cook did not see this one coming. An SEC school asked him to give them a call and that is when they offered him a scholarship Friday night.

"Coach Grinch from Missouri talked to me on Twitter and told me to call him, and when I did, he offered me," Cole Cook told Scout Friday night.

Cook did not see this offer coming from the Tigers and he does not know a lot about them yet.

"I had heard nothing from them until today. I do not know a lot about Missouri right now other than them playing in the SEC."

This has been a big week for the 6-foot-5, 235 pound tight end out of Carrollton, Ga. He was named Top Performer at the MVP Camp in Valdosta, Ga. on Sunday, then he picked up his first offer from North Carolina State on Wednesday, now an offer from Missouri on Friday.

When asked he he felt after this big week, he replied with the simple answer, "I feel very blessed."

Things have really heated up for Cook, a tight end who is known for his strong blocking, but he has soft hands to receive the ball too.

Plenty of schools are showing interest, so who could be the third school to offer this junior a scholarship"

"I have no idea who could be next," he said with a laugh.
