News and notes from the first day of competition at the Las Vegas NLA 7on7…

  • Federal Way (Wash) athlete Chico McClatcher's offer list sits at Arizona State, Portland State, Utah and Washington.
  • Federal Way (Wash) safety Keenan Curran is getting interest from Arizona State, Boise State and Washington among others. He will camp at Oregon and Washington this summer.
  • Salt Lake City (Utah) East running back Ula Tolutau had offers from BYU and Utah and has now added Hawaii and Utah State.
  • Salt Lake City (Utah) East tight end Joe Tukuafa picked up an offer from Utah earlier this spring.
  • Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton safety Isaiah Kaufusi still only has an offer from BYU, but is hearing from Washington heavily and hopes they may offer.
  • Kahuku (Haw.) High defensive end Lamone Williams holds a Hawaii offer at defensive end, but is out at the camp playing wide receiver.
  • Things have calmed down some for Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton athlete Osa Masina who picked up offers from BYU, Michigan, Utah, Utah State and Wisconsin earlier this spring.
  • South Jordan (Utah) Bingham tight end Dalton Schultz added Nebraska, Notre Dame, UCLA and Washington this week to his already impressive offer list.
  • Sandy (Utah) Jordan 2015 quarterback Austin Kafentzis plans to commit by the end of the season, but is wide open right now between his offers from BYU, Utah, Utah State and Wisconsin.
  • Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis running back Adam Noga holds an offer from Hawaii.
