"I did (go to Western Kentucky)," Walker said. "I went with B.J. Nagle, my new quarterback. I met with (teammates) Austin Davis, Austin Askin, Ryan Karrer and John Kurtz there. I had a great visit," he said.
Walker was impressed with the new coaching staff at Western Kentucky and he was already familiar with some of the coaches.
"I enjoyed the campus and the coaches were great. They have a great staff. I talked to coach Nochta, who I spoke to at Purdue's camp last summer. He's great. Their running back coach is great as well. His name is Kolby Smith. He played in the NFL and knows his football well," Walker continued.
Walker was delayed a little bit getting to campus due to some traffic incidents, but one member of the Hilltopper coaching staff said that they would be by St. Xavier during spring practice.
"Coach Jeff Brohm said he was going to attend some of our spring practices. Maybe I can show him my talent then," Walker said.
Walker is planning on going to a few camps in the coming weeks, including the Nike Football Training Camp and is also contemplating a trip to Vanderbilt before spring break.
