"I went to junior day at Mississippi State and it really went well," said Green. "I had the chance to see all of the new facilities and everything was really nice.

"I got to see the new football complex, the locker room, the weight room and the academic center. I think I saw pretty much everything and I liked it over there."

Green reports he also learned more about what it takes to be a major college student athlete.

"I got to hear about how hard they work," said Green. "They talked to us about the academic programs that have and all of the weight lifting and the tutoring and all of that.

"I don't think I learned anything new about Mississippi State, but I liked what all they had to say."

Coach Dan Mullen and his staff were the first to offer the Greenville-Weston linebacker a scholarship.

Green reports the Bulldogs let him know that he is very much a priority to them.

"They told me that I still had an offer from them and that when I am ready to commit to them that they are ready to have me," said Green. "I am not ready to do anything major, but I get a really good feeling about Mississippi State.

"I get a good feeling about things when I am over there."

Green reports that he has offers from Louisiana and Ole Miss to go along with his offer from Mississippi State and he plans to see all of the schools extending offers before making a call about his college future.

"I am going to visit Ole Miss soon, but I am not sure when. I think I missed their junior day," said Green. "I haven't been to Louisiana either, but I would like to visit there sometime too.

"I plan on waiting to make my decision after the season sometime.

"I am not sure I want the pressure of being committed to a school on me during the season.

"I am not exactly sure when I am going to decide, but right now I am thinking about waiting until after the season, so I can see how everything goes this year."
