NLA 7on7: Day Two Top Ten names the Top Ten performers from Day Two at the Las Vegas NLA Elite 7on7...

TE Dalton Schultz, Utah One
Schultz was easily the most dominant offensive player in the tournament, all weekend.  Not many receivers had more catches than him.  He's got tremendous hands, hauls in everything within reach, has a great frame and enough athleticism to be successful at the collegiate level.

LB Chandler Leniu, Team AIGA
The MVP of the tournament, Leniu was terrific all weekend, especially on Sunday when AIGA needed big plays in the semifinals, breaking up a key pass in the final minute to secure the victory, and tipping two passes for interceptions.  A bigtime hitter, Leniu showed this weekend how good he can be in coverage.

RB Matthew  Rockett, AIGA
With the AIGA quarterbacks rotating, Rockett was a consistent part of the offense in their tournament win, catching a number of passes in short and intermediate throws for big gains and developing a rhythm with each of them.

WR/CB Tyler Whiley, Those Guys
Whiley was excellent for a second straight day, helping Those Guys to their fourth straight shutout in the early rounds and teaming with Christian Kirk for the offensive firepower.  While they lost in a surprise earlier in the playoffs than expected, Whiley was big for Those Guys.

QB, Brad Kaaya, PrepStar AirStrike
With the wind getting nasty on Sunday, Kaaya showed great poise and consistency and did a terrific job throwing the ball downfield.  He's got good spin on the ball and didn't have a problem finding his receivers deep with the wind picked up.

CB Kionce Roberts, Just Play
The sleeper prospect from Corona, Roberts and Just Play had a surprising run through the playoffs, knocking out top seeded Those Guys in a surprising fashion and giving Utah One all it could handle in the quarterfinals, thanks largely to the play of Roberts, who was tremendous in coverage all weekend.

DB Kavika Fonua, Utah One
Made a name for himself last year, sealing Team Utah's championship with an interception and returned to help lead a team that didn't give up a touchdown in the playoffs until the quarterfinals.  Had a couple of interceptions and took them to the semifinals and is an under-the-radar prospect.

WR Mack Richards, Utah One
Went out after the first game yesterday with a hip flexor but returned this morning to become Team Utah's top receiver on the day.  Scored numerous touchdowns, showed the ability to go up and get the ball, and did a great job of getting yards after the catch.

TE Tyler Luatua, Team AIGA
After a slow start on Saturday, Luatua bounced back with a much better day on Sunday, helping AIGA to the championship, with a number of touchdowns.  Did a great job of getting open and getting better separation and going up and making the tough grab.

QB Manny Wilkins, DB Guru
Had another good day on Sunday, teaming with Michiah Quick on a number of touchdowns, including, again, the best throw of the day, a beautiful 35-yard touchdown he dropped in over two defenders, to Quick.
