Da'Shawn Hand will visit North Carolina this weekend and watch their basketball team take on Duke. The Tar Heels were in his original final five that he released back in January, along with Alabama, Michigan, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech. However, he replaced the Tar Heels with Florida shortly thereafter. Despite that decision, Hand visiting Chapel Hill this weekend is definitely a good sign for Tar Heels. The following weekend, he will visit Michigan (March 16).
Andrew Brown narrowed his list to ten schools last month – Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State,Georgia Tech, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Brown will hit the road beginning this week when he visits North Carolina. Brown will also visit Alabama the first week in April, Florida and Florida State in May, and Ohio State the first week in June.
Hertford County (N.C.) defensive end Oshane Ximines picked up his second offer yesterday from Old Dominion. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Ximines also has an offer from East Carolina.
Charlotte (N.C.) Christian wide receiver Bo Hines will visit North Carolina State tomorrow. The junior playmaker has been one of the hottest prospects in North Carolina recently. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Hines has scholarship offers from Ball State, East Carolina, Massachusetts, Nebraska, N.C. State, Ohio, and UNC-Charlotte.
