Another BCS Offer For Willis

Even though he might be overshadowed by teammates Kyle Berger and Jimmy Byrne, Cleveland St. Ignatius safety Dameon Willis has seen his recruitment take off in the past month. He now holds five offers.

Cleveland St. Ignatius annually produces Division-I talent and this year's edition will be no exception. The 2014 class features several players with college offers.

Dameon Willis plays both sides of the football, and the 6-foot-1, 211-pound, athlete has seen his recruitment take off recently. He just added his second BCS offer.

"Things are going really well for me," Willis stated. "Louisville is my latest offer, along with Western Michigan. I also visited Indiana last weekend and had a great trip. I really liked their campus a lot."

With five total offers, Willis is just now scratching the surface of what he might hold after the summer camp season. He was impressed with the Louisville offer.

"Louisville is a great school for what I'm looking to study in college, and they have a football program that is on the rise," he explained. "Coach (Charlie) Strong is a great coach and I'm looking forward to meeting him in person. I do have a good relationship with Coach (Tommy) Restivo and we have been speaking for a few months."

"They kept telling me they were going to offer, and it was only a matter of time," he added. "The next step for me is to get down there for a visit and see how I feel about the program and Coach Strong. Most likely, I will be visiting Louisville in April."

Willis also holds offers from Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Toledo. Although he plays safety in high school, he more than likely will play linebacker at the next level.
